Built by Brazil joins the panel “From Brazil to the World” at the CAU-BR 2025 International Conference

The CAU 2025 International Conference concluded its activities last Saturday (September 6), in Brasília, with discussions on the internationalization of Brazilian architecture and the role of the country’s professionals in addressing global challenges.

On the morning of the final day, the panel “From Brazil to the World” brought together prominent figures from the sector to discuss the paths and opportunities for Brazilian architecture in the global context. The session featured Pedro Coelho, manager of the Built by Brazil program of the Brazilian Association of Architecture Firms (AsBEA), and architect Gustavo Ribeiro, representative of AIA International, with Danilo Batista, president of AsBEA, moderating the discussion.

In the afternoon, the program continued with the session “From Brazil to the World: Case Studies of Brazilian Architects’ Projects Abroad,” which highlighted the experiences of national professionals working internationally. The debate explored how Brazil’s experience in facing climate-related disasters and urban inequalities can inspire global solutions in architecture and urbanism. The panel featured architects and urban planners Miriam Addor, Sérgio Myssior, and Pedro Lira.

Concluding the Conference, the discussions emphasized the growing role of Brazilian architecture on the international stage and the importance of sharing local experiences as a source of innovation and sustainability on a global scale.
