AsBEA, through its internationalization program Built by Brazil (held in partnership with ApexBrasil), will promote an international mission to MIPIM 2026, aiming to boost exports of architecture and urbanism services. Featuring industry leaders such as FGMF, Natureza Urbana, Fernandes Arquitetos, ARCHITECTS OFFICE, aflalo/gasperini arquitetos, Bernardes Arquitetura, Isay Weinfeld, and Königsberger Vannucchi Arquitetos, the initiative will feature a dedicated pavilion to showcase these firms as highlights of contemporary Brazilian architecture and host a schedule of commercial meetings with potential clients from major European and Middle Eastern markets.
Between March 9 and 13, some of Brazil’s top architecture and urban planning firms will join forces to represent the country at MIPIM—the world’s leading real estate market event—held annually at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
Now in its fourth official edition (following 2015, 2019, and 2024), the Built by Brazil MIPIM Mission reaches a new record number of participating firms and attendees for 2026. With eight highly qualified offices, the mission expects to bring 14 representatives and collaborators to promote the industry’s image and conduct business meetings with international investors.
The program includes the display of firm brands and iconic projects through architectural models, audiovisual materials, and themed presentations at the pavilion. The exhibition material and individual presentations will showcase the excellence of contemporary Brazilian architecture to MIPIM attendees, highlighting the conceptual and design elements that make it desirable and competitive globally.
Beyond the presentations and individual business meetings, the delegation will engage in an intense agenda of events, including visits to international pavilions, the Housing Matters seminar, and the MIPIM Awards, which highlight key market trends in the residential, hospitality, and master-planned community sectors.
