Platina 220, a mixed-use building located in Tatuapé, in São Paulo’s East Zone, is the tallest in the city — standing 172 meters high with 49 floors. It is part of the Platina Axis, an urban development proposal aimed at creating a new urban centre, conceived by Porte Engenharia in collaboration with Königsberger Vannucchi.
Situated across from Tatuapé Mall, the building integrates multiple functions: retail on the ground floor, hotel and residential units on the lower third, office suites in the middle section, and corporate office floors at the top. This mix aims to attract businesses to the area while reducing the need for residents to commute to other parts of the city.
