The Museum of Photography in Fortaleza is defined by a contemporary approach, with a focus on timeless forms and materials. The project aims for neutrality and timelessness so that exhibitions can take center stage.
The façade is a distinctive and striking element, easily recognizable by its unique identity.
The lighting design for the exterior and façade sought to highlight this singularity while maintaining the necessary standards for user accessibility. In the exhibition area, the predominant lighting strategy was to “wash” the vertical planes evenly, offering flexibility for various sizes and formats of photographic works on display.
