On February 1, 2024, the Brazilian Association of Architecture Firms (AsBEA), through the São Paulo region, AsBEA-SP, and the Brazilian Export Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), signed an agreement for the execution of the Built by Brazil export promotion project aimed at architecture and urban planning services.
This will be the fourth agreement signed between the entities, in a partnership that began in 2011, accumulating commercial and strategic achievements for service exports and the international positioning of Brazilian architecture and urban planning. Therefore, the objective of this edition of the agreement is: the promotion of exports of Brazilian architecture and urban planning services through, image and commercial promotion, with an emphasis on commercial actions at MIPIM, the main market fair for global real estate.
To this end, the following actions are planned in the three areas of activity (training, commercial and image promotion):
Structuring Actions
Commercial Intelligence:
? Reformulation of the Architectural Services Export Guide
? Market intelligence studies in 4 target markets
? Training Track: holding two complementary workshops to PEIEX for beginner members and a specific workshop for each commercial promotion action carried out
Commercial Actions
? Built by Brazil Missions to MIPIM
? Commercial Missions to Portugal
? Prospective Mission to Paraguay
? EXPO Mission Osaka, Japan
Communication Actions
? Image Project: Built by Brazil: Sustainable Brazilian Architecture.
? Digital Communication, Promotional Materials and Customized Support.
The renewal of the agreement was made possible thanks to the maintenance of Built by Brazil by AsBEA-SP, representing AsBEA, and its evolution from an export promotion project to an Internationalization Program. This change demonstrates the maturity of the entity’s vision regarding the theme of internationalization and its prioritization within the scope of institutional relations.
This process would not be possible without the participation and commitment of companies associated with the Built by Brazil Program, which allowed the elaboration of the Internationalization Strategies for Brazilian Architecture and Urban Planning and the resumption of the export promotion agreement with Apex-Brasil. Marking a milestone in promoting the internationalization of Brazilian architectural firms, AsBEA-SP, through its Built by Brazil Program and in partnership with ApexBrasil, will carry out, between March 10 and 18, the largest international initiative in its history: “Mission Europe 2025”. With the objective of promoting actions in the three focus areas of Built by Brazil—capacity building, image promotion, and commerce—the Mission is divided into two stages: MIPIM and Portugal.
AsBEA, through the Built by Brazil Program, maintained by AsBEA-SP, established an agreement to encourage the participation of Brazilian architecture and urban planning offices in the largest fair in the global real estate market.
