The MOU (Memorandum of Agreement), an unprecedented international agreement between AsBEA and a similar entity abroad, has as its main objective the formation of a group of Brazilian architects in Miami. Result of the Visit Built by Brazil to Florida, held in June 2022, with the participation of the president of AsBEA-SP, Milene Abla, and the president and VP of AsBEA-BR, Danilo Batista and Miriam Addor, the agreement was conceived together with the then president of AIA Miami, Craig Aquart.
Since then, Built by Brazil has promoted meetings with representatives of AIA Miami led by Brazilian architects based in Miami, Elizabeth Camargo (former director of AIA Miami), Heloísa Perrone and Adriana Schonhofen, who coordinates the project on the AIA side.
The objectives of the group of Brazilian architects in Miami resulting from the MOU are international cooperation between Brazilian architects and urban planners, in Brazil and in Miami, on the topics: professional networking, exchange of technical information and international business structuring. After signing the agreement, the group is now in the structuring phase and the next step will be its official launch in an online event to be held in the next semester.

Marking a milestone in promoting the internationalization of Brazilian architectural firms, AsBEA-SP, through its Built by Brazil Program and in partnership with ApexBrasil, will carry out, between March 10 and 18, the largest international initiative in its history: “Mission Europe 2025”. With the objective of promoting actions in the three focus areas of Built by Brazil—capacity building, image promotion, and commerce—the Mission is divided into two stages: MIPIM and Portugal.
AsBEA, through the Built by Brazil Program, maintained by AsBEA-SP, established an agreement to encourage the participation of Brazilian architecture and urban planning offices in the largest fair in the global real estate market.
