The Parque Natural Municipal Cabeceira do Aricanduva (PNMCA), in eastern São Paulo, covers ~96,000 m² and is organized into five sections that create new connections between the neighborhood and the natural area: Administrative Headquarters, Bus Stop, Leisure Squares, Youth Square, and School Park. The project requalifies public spaces along the park’s boundaries, featuring a suspended deck/viewpoint, a timber Administrative Headquarters integrated into the trails, and a metal Observation Tower. Accessible pathways and squares incorporate urban furniture, fitness equipment, and a playground, bringing residents closer to the preserved area while containing irregular urbanization.
