Hotel Fasano Trancoso sits on Itapororoca Beach, Bahia, on a site stretching over 500m along the shore.
The layout was zoned to ease operations, ensure guest privacy, and make the most of the ocean view. A watercourse crossing the site contributed naturally to this organization: support, administration, and leisure structures sit along the boundaries, leaving the center reserved for the bungalows — residential units on one side, hotel units on the other — set amid lush landscaping of bromeliads, heliconias, and coconut palms.
A wooden deck along the beach is dotted with 5 pools, with a beach club at one end and a spa at the other.
Natural materials — mortar, raw brick, wood, and thatch —, in simple lines, reflect the Fasano spirit: understated sophistication, averse to ostentation.
